O objetivo deste artigo \u00e9 descrever a sociog\u00eanese de uma mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9tnica ocorrida na comunidade ind\u00edgena Serra do Truar\u00fa, iniciada em 2004. A referida mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o tinha como objetivo prec\u00edpuo a amplia\u00e7\u00e3o da Terra Ind\u00edgena Serra da Mo\u00e7a, algo que j\u00e1 era demandado pelos Wapichana e Macuxi desde a demarca\u00e7\u00e3o no ano de 1991. Para este artigo, procuro etnografar os antecedentes da referida mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o, tomando como elementos importantes formadores desse processo: as experi\u00eancias das lideran\u00e7as ind\u00edgenas, a viv\u00eancia de restri\u00e7\u00f5es cotidianas a partir de negocia\u00e7\u00f5es fundi\u00e1rias desfavor\u00e1veis e o contexto pol\u00edtico regional. A conjuga\u00e7\u00e3o desses fatores desencadeou mobiliza\u00e7\u00f5es ind\u00edgenas e, dessa forma, constata-se que tais elementos s\u00e3o fundamentais na orienta\u00e7\u00e3o das formas organizativas e na politiza\u00e7\u00e3o da identidade \u00e9tnica para atuarem na luta por suas terras tradicionalmente ocupadas.<\/p>\n
The objective of this article is to describe the sociogenesis of an ethnic mobilization that happened in the indigenous community Serra do Truar\u00fa, in 2004. This mobilization had as its main objective the expansion of the Serra da Mo\u00e7a Indigenous Land, something that has already been demanded by the Wapishana and Macuxi since the demarcation in 1991. For this article, I ethnograph the antecedents of the mentioned mobilization, taking as important elements forming this process: the experiences of indigenous leaders, the experience of daily restrictions based on unfavorable land negotiations and the regional political context. The combination of these factors triggered indigenous mobilizations and this way, it turns out that these elements are fundamental in the orientation of organizational forms and in the politicization of ethnic identity to act in the struggle for their traditionally occupied lands.<\/p>\n
