A partir de aportes te\u00f3ricos sobre identidade, diferen\u00e7a, reconhecimento e movimentos sociais, o presente artigo objetiva investigar como est\u00e3o articulados os movimentos de mulheres ind\u00edgenas no Brasil, bem como as formas que s\u00e3o debatidas a quest\u00e3o do enfrentamento da viol\u00eancia de g\u00eanero no seio desses movimentos. Inicialmente, a pesquisa aponta a dificuldade no campo do reconhecimento identit\u00e1rio das ind\u00edgenas, ap\u00f3s enfatiza a mudan\u00e7a paradigm\u00e1tica representada Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o Federal de 1988 no campo do reconhecimento social e jur\u00eddico e, por fim, ressalta a import\u00e2ncia de os movimentos de mulheres ind\u00edgenas empunharem a pauta do reconhecimento identit\u00e1rio e da viol\u00eancia de g\u00eanero, denunciando e buscando alternativas contra as viol\u00eancias sofridas. A pesquisa valeu-se da t\u00e9cnica bibliogr\u00e1fica, a partir modo de racioc\u00ednio dedutivo e dos m\u00e9todos de abordagem hermen\u00eautico e cr\u00edtico-dial\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n
Based on theoretical literature on identity, difference, recognition, and social movements, this article aims to investigate how indigenous women’s movements in Brazil are articulated. It also investigates the manners in which the fight against gender-based violence is debated within these movements. Initially, the research points out the difficulty within the identity recognition field for the indigenous peoples. Secondly, it shows the paradigmatic shift represented by the Federal Constitution of 1988 in the field of social and legal recognition. Finally, it highlights the importance of the indigenous women’s movements to grant the agenda for identity recognition and gender violence, reporting and searching for alternative ways against the violence suffered by indigenous women.
