Diante dessas quest\u00f5es, o objetivo deste artigo \u00e9 levantar as pol\u00edticas de forma\u00e7\u00e3o e carreira docente ind\u00edgena no estado de Rond\u00f4nia, no per\u00edodo entre 1988 e 2018, e analis\u00e1-las a partir das perspectivas de gestores(as) da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Escolar Ind\u00edgena do estado. Para tanto, recorreu-se a entrevistas semiestruturadas e pesquisa documental. Para a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o das an\u00e1lises, foram utilizados os procedimentos de an\u00e1lise de conte\u00fado e t\u00e9cnicas de categoriza\u00e7\u00e3o. Os resultados revelam o avan\u00e7o do estado de Rond\u00f4nia na pol\u00edtica de forma\u00e7\u00e3o docente e no plano de carreira espec\u00edfico para os ind\u00edgenas. Conclui-se que o protagonismo das organiza\u00e7\u00f5es ind\u00edgenas no estado possibilitou o desenvolvimento de pol\u00edticas educacionais e formativas para estes povos, embora evidenciem-se situa\u00e7\u00f5es burocr\u00e1ticas na efetiva\u00e7\u00e3o e progresso dessas pol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n<p>Although the right to a specific, differentiated, bilingual, and intercultural teacher training for indigenous people is guaranteed by the Brazilian legislation, they are not always effective, hampering the development of educational and training processes for these people. Thus, this study aims to survey education policies and the teaching career of indigenous people in the State of Rond\u00f4nia from 1988 to 2018, and analyze them from the perspectives of the managers of the Indigenous School Education (EIS) of the state. Data were collected by means of semi-structured interviews and documentary research and analyzed in the light of Bardin\u2019s (2011) content analysis and categorization. The results reveal the progress of the teacher education policy and specific career plan for indigenous people in the state.
