Este artigo aborda a educa\u00e7\u00e3o ind\u00edgena na educa\u00e7\u00e3o superior no curso de direito na Universidade Federal de Roraima. Tem como objetivo compreender os desafios enfrentados pelos ind\u00edgenas ao ingressarem nesse novo ambiente acad\u00eamico integrado pela maioria n\u00e3o ind\u00edgena. Para isso, o presente texto apresenta a metodologia quanti-qualitativa realizada por meio de an\u00e1lise documental e de conte\u00fado, como tamb\u00e9m de rodas de conversas com ind\u00edgenas estudantes do curso. Como resultado, obteve-se um levantamento de ingresso de discentes ind\u00edgenas, no per\u00edodo de 2011 a 2019, bem como de todos os aux\u00edlios ofertados pela institui\u00e7\u00e3o. A institui\u00e7\u00e3o vem promovendo o ingresso de ind\u00edgenas de forma eficaz e tamb\u00e9m propicia a sua perman\u00eancia, por meio de diversas formas de ajuda financeira. Quanto \u00e0s dificuldades reveladas no estudo, identificou-se que as mais recorrentes e que levam aos abandonos do curso s\u00e3o as de ordem financeira, linguagem, inform\u00e1tica e preconceito.<\/p>\n
This paper addresses indigenous higher education in the Law Program at the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR). It aims to understand the challenges faced by indigenous people when they enter this new academic environment integrated by a majority of non-indigenous people. To this end, this text outlines the quantitative and qualitative methodology carried out through documentary and content analysis, as well as conversations with indigenous students taking the program. As a result, a survey was obtained with data on the entrance of indigenous students, in the period from 2011 to 2019, as well as all the aid offered by the institution. The institution has been promoting the entry of indigenous people in an effective manner and also provides for their permanence through various forms of financial assistance. As for the difficulties revealed in the study, financial, language, and information technology difficulties as well as prejudice were identified as the most recurrent, leading to drop out.<\/p>\n
