Neste artigo analisamos a\u00e7\u00f5es do Estado na Terra Ind\u00edgena (TI) Inhacor\u00e1, RS, nas d\u00e9cadas de 1950 e 1960, per\u00edodo em que crian\u00e7as desta TI foram levadas para a Col\u00f4nia Estadual de F\u00e9rias de Ita\u00ed e para o Internato Rural Pedro Maciel. Focalizamos pr\u00e1ticas educativas, explora\u00e7\u00e3o do territ\u00f3rio e do trabalho, a partir da an\u00e1lise do documento Com os Caingangue do Inhacor\u00e1, publicado originalmente em l\u00edngua alem\u00e3 por Fischer (1959). Apresentamos, igualmente, a percep\u00e7\u00e3o Kaingang diante destas a\u00e7\u00f5es a partir de trabalhos dos professores-pesquisadores Kaingang Cipriano (2014), Miguel (2015) e Policena (2020). No per\u00edodo estudado o Estado utilizou como estrat\u00e9gia civilizat\u00f3ria a combina\u00e7\u00e3o entre a escolariza\u00e7\u00e3o e o trabalho, resultando na redu\u00e7\u00e3o dr\u00e1stica do territ\u00f3rio e das liberdades, na sistem\u00e1tica explora\u00e7\u00e3o do trabalho ind\u00edgena e em danos significativos nos processos pr\u00f3prios de aprendizagem desse povo. No entanto, destacamos a resist\u00eancia Kaingang frente a essas viol\u00eancias.<\/p>\n
This paper analyzes the State actions in the Inhacor\u00e1 Indigenous Land, RS, in the 1950s and 1960s, a period in which children from this indigenous land were taken to Ita\u00ed State Holiday Camp (Col\u00f4nia Estadual de F\u00e9rias de Ita\u00ed) and to Pedro Maciel Rural Boarding School (Internato Rural Pedro Maciel). We focus on educational practices, exploitation of the territory and labor, based on the analysis of the document Com os Caingangue do Inhacor\u00e1, originally published in German by Fischer (1959). We also present the Kaingang perception of these actions based on the work of Kaingang teachers and researchers Cipriano (2014), Miguel (2015) and Policena (2020). During the mentioned period, the State used the combination of schooling and work as a civilizational strategy, resulting in a drastic reduction of territory and freedom, systematic exploitation of indigenous work and significant damage to the Kaingang people’s own learning processes. However, we highlight the Kaingang resistance to these violences.<\/p>\n
