O recorte apresentado aqui contextualiza tamb\u00e9m a regi\u00e3o do sul da Bahia, atentando mais especificamente em momentos chaves da trajet\u00f3ria de luta do povo Tupinamb\u00e1 de Oliven\u00e7a pelo reconhecimento \u00e9tnico, pelo territ\u00f3rio e por uma educa\u00e7\u00e3o diferenciada \u2013 com \u00eanfase na comunidade da Serra do Padeiro \u2013, destacando como momentos dessa trajet\u00f3ria se cruzam com o pr\u00f3prio Paulo Freire e a import\u00e2ncia do seu trabalho.<\/p>\n<p>The article presents the political project of the Tupinamb\u00e1 of Serra do Padeiro in relation to indigenous school education, which has required constant reorganization, in the wake of dispossession and in accordance with the collective objective of providing formal education to new generations as a means of guaranteeing rights and improvement of living conditions in the village.
