O artigo discute o engajamento de intelectuais Kaiow\u00e1 e Guarani no esfor\u00e7o de sistematiza\u00e7\u00e3o de uma teoria do conhecimento oriunda de seus pr\u00f3prios princ\u00edpios cosmol\u00f3gicos. Tal teoria seria forjada nas conex\u00f5es multifacetadas entre o sistema de conhecimento ind\u00edgena – ava reko – , referido como distintas modalidades de seres, habitantes dos v\u00e1rios planos de exist\u00eancia e acessados por especialistas ind\u00edgenas, como os homens e mulheres xam\u00e3s, e o sistema n\u00e3o ind\u00edgena de escolariza\u00e7\u00e3o, no qual os jovens letrados est\u00e3o intensamente inseridos – karai reko. O objetivo \u00e9 demonstrar como o processo de letramento ou escolariza\u00e7\u00e3o, que \u00e0 primeira vista afastaria ou aprisionaria a perspectiva ind\u00edgena, muitas vezes tem um efeito contr\u00e1rio, provocando a intensifica\u00e7\u00e3o da (re)conex\u00e3o desses\/as jovens letrados\/as com sua pr\u00f3pria tradi\u00e7\u00e3o. Priorizamos o di\u00e1logo com esses\/as jovens pesquisadores\/as e com suas produ\u00e7\u00f5es escritas como base para o desenvolvimento da hip\u00f3tese aqui sugerida.<\/p>\n
The article discusses the engagement of Kaiow\u00e1 and Guarani intellectuals in the effort to systematize a theory of knowledge from their own cosmological principles. Such a theory is forged in the multifaceted connections between the indigenous knowledge system – the ava reko -, understood as different types of beings and inhabitants of the various planes of existence accessed by indigenous specialists, such as the shaman men and women, and the non-indigenous schooling system to which educated young people are intensely exposed – the karai reko. The aim here is to demonstrate how the process of literacy or schooling that at a first glance would alienate or imprison the Indigenous perspective has often the opposite effect: a deeper connection of these literate young people with their own tradition. We prioritize the dialogue with young scholars and their intellectual productions as a basis for the development of the hypothesis.<\/p>\n
